Do you organise a small show?
Are you a member of a small club or society that stages a show every year?
Can members of the public exhibit their work to win modest cash prizes or cups and trophies for fun and pleasure?
Today (14 November 2024), I discovered a problem with the contact form. It did not relay email. If you have tried to contact me without success, please try again. I apologise for any inconvenience. Thank you.

Scope
Have you been co-opted as a volunteer to manage or oversee practical aspects of the show?
If so, you may be involved with the following:
- The preparation of a show programme or web pages listing the categories for exhibition.
- Accepting entries and entry fees in the days immediately preceding the show.
- Laying out tables and assembling display boards to display the exhibits.
- Engaging and assisting judges.
- Collating the judges’ decisions to pay prizes or accumulate points towards awarding cups and trophies.
- Providing the show’s treasurer with a list of winners and their total winnings.
Computer software makes things easier to manage
The processes can be increasingly challenging to organise efficiently and manage reliably the more classes and exhibitors there are.
A computer application can lighten the load, especially if it can be easily configured to suit your show’s requirements without sticking to a rigid, one-size-fits-all model.
SmallShow
Consider SmallShow, a low-cost application that will meet your needs.
It will be available for the 2025 season.
With a likely cost of £25 to £30 per show, it will enable you to concentrate on making your show a smooth-running success with minimal effort, thereby reducing your anxieties.
Reliable Pedigree
SmallShow has been developed by enhancing an earlier, tried-and-tested design that has satisfied the diverse requirements of many shows over the past twenty years.
